Frau Taskin in Ludwigsburg – Freundlicher Besitzer, tolle Zutaten, aber ungewohnte Namenswahl für den „Steak Döner“ Ich war heute bei Frau Taskin in Ludwigsburg und habe einen Steak Döner bestellt. Vorab fragte ich den Besitzer, wofür der Laden eigentlich bekannt ist – seine Antwort: für die vegetarischen und veganen Gerichte. Trotzdem entschied ich mich, den von ihm empfohlenen Steak Döner zu probieren. Schon beim Betreten fiel mir auf, dass für den Steak Döner geworben wird, obwohl kein klassischer Drehspieß vorhanden ist. Die Zubereitung überraschte mich positiv: Der Besitzer holte ein schönes Stück Steak aus dem Kühlschrank, schnitt es in Streifen und briet es frisch mit Zwiebeln an. Parallel legte er ein Fladenbrot in den Kontaktgrill – ob selbst gebacken oder zugekauft, kann ich nicht sagen, aber das Anrösten gab dem Brot einen angenehmen Knack. Nach nicht einmal fünf Minuten war der Döner fertig. Das Fleisch wurde in einer Pfanne angebraten, was bei größerem Andrang vielleicht zeitaufwendig werden könnte – möglicherweise hat der Laden dafür aber ein Konzept, das ich nicht kenne. Die vegetarischen Gerichte in der Auslage sahen sehr frisch und appetitlich aus. Insgesamt ist der Laden sauber, gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Zum Geschmack: Der Steak Döner war groß und frisch, allerdings empfand ich das Verhältnis von Fleisch zu Brot als etwas knapp – das Fleisch ging geschmacklich etwas unter und hätte für meinen Geschmack mehr Tiefe haben können. Es war lecker, keine Frage, aber ich hatte bei „Steak Döner“ eine andere Erwartung – etwas mehr Würze, etwas mehr Raffinesse. Warum ich die Namensgebung ungewohnt finde: Für mich bedeutet „Döner“ in der Regel Fleisch vom Drehspieß. Das, was ich hier gegessen habe, erinnerte mich eher an ein frisch zubereitetes Steak-Sandwich. Schlecht war es definitiv nicht – im Gegenteil, es hat gut geschmeckt –, nur würde ich es persönlich anders benennen. Serviert wurde es im gerösteten Fladenbrot mit dem Steak-Zwiebel-Mix, frischem Salat, Tomaten und Zwiebeln – Sauce war keine dabei, hätte aber auch nicht zwingend sein müssen. Insgesamt ein leckeres Essen, freundlicher Service und ein schönes Ambiente. Die Namenswahl und das Fleisch-Brot-Verhältnis sorgen bei mir aber dafür, dass es keine volle Fünf-Sterne-Bewertung gibt.
